deflections\/displacement at expansion joints or bearings<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Erosion of soil surrounding the bridge foundation (piers and abutments)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Scour holes caused by fast-moving water removing sediment from around the bridge foundation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Tilting of retaining wall panels<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\"><strong>Solutions measure the width of existing cracks, and assess floor beam deflections.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\"><strong>Strain Gauges: <\/strong>To monitor load-bearing members and strain\/stress on girders and floor beams.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\"><strong>Wireless Sonar Water Depth Meter<\/strong>: Strategically placed at specific piers to collect underwater data, such as depth and
