Resensys included in head-turning group of industry leaders in The Insight Partners’ 2027 Structural Health Monitoring Market Outlook Report

Industry Leadership

Resensys’ inclusion in a group of 9 key players in the Global Structural Health Monitoring (SHM) Industry in The Insight Partner’s most recent global market outlook report reflects Resensys’ continued world-class product and research/ application advances.

NSF-Funded Research Success

The US-based, research-driven and customer-oriented company continues to solve and exceed customer expectations in the wireless technology structural health monitoring front.   Recent research wins include a NSF-funded game-changing technology development, which allows the coupling of Resensys’ signature 10yr battery life on its SenSpot product line with higher rate precision measurement.

“Burst” Precision, Accurate Sampling

This is important for SHM customers, because it means that precise fatigue analysis (such as rainflow counting), and accurate accounting of all loading cycles can now be achieved through the combination of ultra-low power sensing and wireless communication with long term monitoring of strain at high sampling rates of up to 50-100 samples per second!

Cost Savings and Convenience

But Resensys’ leadership is not solely on the technological front.  By maintaining an exclusively wireless and ultra-low power product line, Resensys up-ends the industry by providing client (and tax-payer) cost savings and decreased aggravation because wireless technology means lower installation time and costs, and lessens discomfort to highway users since not needing to install wired instruments minimizes duration of lane closures and decreases impact on traffic.

Customer Responsiveness and Design Flexibility/ Customization

While Resensys’ sensors are small, their impact is large.  Resensys’ SenSpot sensors are used in a wide range of applications, allowing customers to get key data to inform their asset management decisions.   Applications range from assessing man-made seismic effects on structures, to structural fatigue analysis, to remote monitoring under extreme permit loads.   For more information on some core SenSpot product applications, review our Application Note repository: https://www.resensys.com/r20/wireless-sensor-application-note-landing-page.html
