A wireless anemometer is a device used to measure wind speed without the need for wired connections. It collects wind data and transmits it wirelessly to a monitoring system, enabling real-time tracking of wind conditions in infrastructure, environmental, and industrial applications.
A wireless wind speed sensor measures wind velocity using rotating cups or advanced sensing mechanisms. As wind flows, the sensor detects speed changes and sends the data wirelessly to a monitoring platform for real-time analysis and reporting.
Wireless anemometers are widely used in bridges, high-rise buildings, construction sites, wind farms, airports, and weather monitoring stations. They help monitor wind conditions that may affect structural stability or operational safety.
Wind speed monitoring helps engineers understand how wind loads impact structures. Using a wireless anemometer, engineers can detect strong wind conditions and assess their effect on bridges, towers, and buildings to improve safety and performance.
