Resensys’ products are also sustainable due to their innovative product design:

  • SenSpots™ are WIRELESS.  This means that they have a smaller installed footprint than wired sensors, and unlike for wired sensors, additional equipment, resources and time is not needed to install communications or power infrastructure. This can make them lower cost, but also more sustainable.
  • SenSpots™ are ULTRA-LOW POWER.  As a result of Resensys’ patented technology, they have a 10-yr battery life using small CR123Abattery. Low power usage means fewer batteries for the monitoring duration.  This reduces the hassle and resources required for maintenance as Resensys’ Sensports™ are virtually maintenance-free after installation and do not require re-calibration. 
  • SeniMax™ is ENERGY SELF-SUFFICIENT, combining solar power with a rechargeable battery to ensure no loss of data in cloudy conditions.  By using solar power where possible for our systems, non-renewable energy use is minimized and our systems can operate effectively and dependably in remote locations.
